Joining McGregor and Christensen in the special event series will be The Queen’s Gambit actress Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Star Wars’ Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, Straight Outta Compton’s O’Shea Jackson Jr., Fast and Furious actor Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.
The Mandalorian director Deborah Chow will be taking the directorial lead on Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Much to fans dismay, it will be a little while before the special series is aired exclusively on Disney+ as the release date is set for some time in 2022. Thankfully series 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian are available to stream now!
